French for fervor. Full-bodied, textured, with notes of brown butter, hazelnut, and wet stone. Barrel-fermented, sur lie aging. For those who take whites seriously.

En Garde was born from a simple conviction: Sonoma County has enough wines that play it safe. We wanted something that wouldn't apologize for taking up space.
Located in the heart of Glen Ellen — a village so small it doesn't appear on most maps — our estate sits at the crossroads of the Russian River and Sonoma Valley appellations. The terroir here is uncompromising: cool fog, well-drained goldridge soil, and a growing season that rewards patience and punishes haste.
Every vineyard we source from, every barrel we choose, every label we design asks the same question: Does this have something to say? If the answer is no, we move on.
